Kitchener, Ontario - (May 15, 2000)- Mr.Gerry Remers, President and Chief Operating Officer of Christie Digital Systems, Inc. (formerly Electrohome Projection Systems), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jim Gavloski as Senior Product Manager for Control Room Solutions.

"In his new position, Mr. Gavloski is responsible for the development and marketing of all Control Room products. Mr. Gavloski reports to Dr. Rocco Fondacaro, Vice-President of Marketing.

Mr. Gavloski has been with Christie Digital for four years and has an extensive background in Control Room technology. Prior to this position, he was in Product Development as Program Manager in charge of the development of DLV and GraphxMaster projectors. Before joining Christie Digital, Mr. Gavloski had his own business as a technical consultant and was involved with hardware and software design and consulted for Electrohome. Mr. Gavloski also has eight-years of engineering experience in the Nuclear Power Industry where he worked on the design and program management for control room equipment for nuclear power reactors.
