Projecting into the Past of Delhi (Ishq-e-Dilli)
The ruins of Old Fort, or Purana Qila, are located on a small hill, which once rested on the banks of this mighty river, one the country's most scared. Old Fort is the citadel of the Mughal Empire's second emperor, Humayun, and houses a mosque with a double storey octagonal tower from where, in an ironic twist of history, he fell to his death.
This 500-year Old Fort comes alive every evening as it plays host to a state-of-the-art "son et luminère" 'Ishq-e-Dilli' (The Love of Delhi), a 55-minute show that depicts Delhi through the history of its 10 cities, beginning from the 11th century to the present.
"We selected Christie Roadster S+20K projectors due to its unmatched brightness and color reproduction in this category. Their versatility is well known to anyone who has worked on these kinds of installations."
