The SAS Institute Chooses Christie MicroTiles for Headquarters
When the world leader in business analytics software and services recently designed a new executive briefing center at its headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, they turned to Christie® to complete the project. The revolutionary Christie MicroTiles® digital signage technology was a perfect fit with the company’s progressive image.
“In designing our new state-of-the-art executive briefing center, SAS was creating a technology and functional showpiece,” said Woody Weaver, senior manager of engineering and operations, SAS. The business required cutting-edge technology that would stand up well to high levels of ambient light, display a clean, seamless image, and conform to environmentally-responsible standards. Christie MicroTiles were a natural fit.
“MicroTiles, with a 1 mm seam between each tile, provide a nearly seamless wall with the flexibility to build into almost any configuration. Our building is platinum LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified. MicroTiles met our requirements as a green solution with low power consumption and no consumables,” he continued.
