Kenji Hamashima

Chairman, President & CEO, Christie Digital Systems Inc.

Kenji Hamashima is Chairman, President and CEO of the Christie holding company, Christie Digital Systems Inc., as well as Ushio America Inc. He has held top management positions in a number of Christie affiliates and group companies, including Chairman, President and CEO of the Christie group of companies, Chairman and CEO of Christie Digital Systems USA, Inc., and Chairman and CEO of Christie Digital Systems Canada, Inc.

Kenji joined Ushio, Inc., in Japan in 1982, working in the Information Systems Department. In 1988, Kenji was assigned to the Secretariat Department at Ushio, Inc. Two years later, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Ushio America, Inc., based in Cypress, California, and relocated to the United States. Following Ushio’s acquisition of Christie® in 1992, Kenji was named as the CFO of Christie, Incorporated, which subsequently changed its name to Christie Digital Systems USA, Inc. In 2001, Kenji became Chairman, President and CEO of Christie Digital Systems, Inc., Chairman and CEO of Christie Digital Systems USA, Inc., and Chairman and CEO of Christie Digital Systems Canada, Inc.

Kenji holds a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from Japan’s Musashi Institute of Technology.
