São Paulo, Brazil - (September 25, 2017) - Christie®, a leader in creating and delivering the world’s best visual and audio experiences, will showcase its next generation ‘all-in-one’ direct-coupled RGB pure laser projector for the first time in Latin America at Expocine 2017, taking place at the Centro de Convenções Frei Caneca in São Paulo, Brazil, September 27-29.
Specifically, Expocine’s main auditorium will be exclusively outfitted with a Christie CP4325-RGB laser projector, the most advanced pure laser projector on the market. Its compact all-in-one form factor eliminates the need for sub-ambient cooling, and provides a vast palette of colors, higher contrast ratio, and low maintenance costs for exhibitors looking at embracing laser projection in their mainstream auditoriums. The Christie CP4325-RGB will support all the studio presentations and screenings at the show, being the first time that Expocine is using RGB laser projection for its main auditorium.
“We are very pleased to offer visitors at Expocine the possibility to experience the highly-anticipated Christie CP4325-RGB cinema projector, which delivers significantly higher efficiency than lasers utilized in current cinemas, and which is poised to become a game-changing proposition for mainstream auditoriums,” said Ricardo Laporta, territory sales manager, Cinema, Christie Brazil.
Christie will also reinforce its position as an industry leader by participating in a panel discussion titled “The future of projection. Laser or LED” on September 28, which will take place in Espaço Itaú de Cinema (Room 2, 3rd floor). Christie will be represented by Susie Beiersdorf, Vice President Sales, Cinema - Americas.
Besides its role as the exclusive projection partner for ExpoCine, Christie will also be exhibiting the Christie CP2208 projector in its booth, No. 52-53, screening DCP content on a three meter wide Severtson white screen. Targeted at theaters in which screen sizes are less than 10.6 meters, the CP2208 is capable of displaying DCI content, alternative and local content, and 3D and High Frame Rate (HFR) content to provide audiences with the best visual experience possible. This screen will offer incredible, immersive sound courtesy of Christie Vive Audio™ LA1 screen channel speakers and S115 subwoofers.
Christie will also exhibit at its booth various digital signage solutions to animate cinema lobbies, showing content by Christie and Allure, a Christie company, including a 2x2 video wall with Christie FHD552-XB LCD flat panels. Made in Brazil, these LCD panels are also supported by top-notch, local service and support resources for complete peace of mind to deliver a superior tiled experience and performance at an affordable price.
Additionally, the lobby reception of the convention center will feature a spectacular visual display with nine Christie FHD552-XB flat panels that will form a striking platform to deliver sophisticated advertisements, which excite exhibitors eager to mount ad campaigns that communicate to and engage audiences.
As well, the booth will feature a Christie Captiva DHD400S ultra short throw 1DLP® laser phosphor projector screening interactive contents onto a 100-inch screen, where visitors will have the chance to test their knowledge about cinema technology and the history of cinema, and win prizes.
All contents at the booth will be managed by award-winning Christie Pandoras Box media servers; a cost-effective turnkey solution that perfectly unites state-of-the-art rendering technology with intuitive media and show control.
