Wokingham, United Kingdom – (27th January 2016) – 2016 promises to be one of the most significant ISE's for Christie® who will be bringing the AV industry
five new major new product launches and upgrades all announced early 2016 - from laser phosphor to processing. We'll be flying in the global product managers, developers and engineers behind these innovations to give expert guidance.
The world's brightest 1DLP laser phosphor projector, 12,000 lumens.
If we could put a drum roll on a press release, please imagine you can hear it now. The new
HS Series is the only 1DLP 12K lumen laser phosphor projector in the world and we have also addressed the color balance issues besetting laser phosphor. We're calling this proprietary platform BoldColor Technology. The name says it all and we urge you to see how bold and bright it is for yourself. And there's another thing. Christie's ability to bring this package to 1DLP technology (not 3DLP) brings the market by far the most affordable LP projector at this brightness; better solutions yet less to pay.
Now, meet the whole Boxer family
Affordability and value is a theme you can also see with the whole new Boxer family. Joining the award-winning
Boxer 4K30 are three new Boxers (announced over the course of January) bringing all the Boxer benefits with choices of lower brightness and 2K resolution levels to pick from. Still the small and unbelievably light chassis, ruggedness, near field communications, and six-lamp redundancy that have causes such a stir - with less cost now yet future-proofed with upgrades if you ever want them.
New LED range for critical viewing
Just days before ISE we'll be announcing a new,
high-end, LED range to add to the award-winning
Christie Velvet LED with some very specific - and unique - features for critical viewing plus ever smaller pixel pitches so you can get even closer to the screen.
New compact and quiet Christie Q Series models for more brightness, greater image clarity and performance
Christie continues as the industry's 1DLP® leader with another launch; added to Christie's dominant 1DLP and SSI lineup is the
Christie DWU1052-Q and
Christie DHD1052-Q. The simultaneous blending and warping, combined with the ability to project in either portrait or landscape mode, means the new
Christie Q Series models provide greater installation freedom, whether it's a fixed installation or a rental staging application.
Pandoras Box gets easier, quicker and even more efficient.
Version 5.9 comes with several updates to improve your daily workflow. Use the
Cues Tab to easily keep track of all cues of your entire show.
Patching now saves valuable time thanks to entirely new workflow and user profiles when remote controlling the system via lighting desks. And discover a brand new approach to using Pandoras Box in a simplified, intuitive way as the
Kiosk Mode reduces the user interface to its essentials, opening up Pandoras Box to everyone.
(To be announced)
We'd also invite you to try out Pandoras Box's spectacular 3D render engine seen through Oculus Rift virtual reality glasses. Try different seats in a basket-ball arena or wander through a museum.
