​​​​​​In the 10 years since the introduction of Christie’s Environmental Management System (EMS) program, teams across the company have looked for ways to make our operations more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Whether it’s retrofitting lights, building new offices, or improving operational processes, Christie®​ has made significant strides in the past decade toward making our operations eco-friendly and reducing the negative impact we may have on the environment.

Conserving water

Christie's Cypress, California office has established a new environmental management program with a target of 16% irrigation water reduction compared to the 2013 baseline data.

Soaking up the sun

In April 2014, Christie installed solar panels at their offices in Cypress, California. The two buildings combined have 1,158 solar panel modules, which produce approximately 474,749 kWh each year.

Kitchener’s west wing

When Christie needed to expand its Kitchener facility, it reconstructed a 3,300 square meter (35,000 square foot) portion of the building, informally known as the west wing, to a beautiful and highly functional office environment.

Designing a Network Operations​ Center

The NOC, which provides 24/7 service, was expanded in 2009. Planning for the expansion included keeping the environmental impact of the extended facility as small as possible.
