Christie cinema technology make a big impression at Mexico’s National Film Theatre

MEXICO CITY - (May 29, 2018) - The Christie® CP4230 projector is playing a lead role at the retrospective season Cineteca Nacional de México (Mexico’s National Film Theatre) is currently dedicated to the US filmmaker Wes Anderson, screening his complete filmography. Installed in the cinema’s main theater, Sala 1, the projector was used to screen Isle of Dogs (2018) which opened the season scheduled and runs from May 18 to 31.

Cineteca Nacional is an institution founded in 1974 with a mandate to preserve, catalog, and exhibit and promote film in Mexico. With a total of ten theaters plus an open-air forum, it covers an area of 29,000 square meters and is visited by over one million people every year.
