The China Pavilion at Expo 2012 is drawing large audiences with the aid of eight Christie® 3-chip DLP® projectors displaying a lively presentation of ocean culture and sustainable development in keeping with the “Living Ocean and Coast” theme of the event.
The pavilion theater features two 9-meter wide by 5-meter high screens with Christie CP2200 Solaria Series Digital Cinema® projectors displaying a water-themed video. Following the movie, the screens lift to allow for a dance performance on the stage, complete with an interactive LED floor.
Highlighting China’s success in marine research and conservation is an inverted dome six feet in diameter. Combined with touch screens, the dome allows visitors to interact with the oceanic creatures – all made possible by four Christie Mirage DS+10K-M projectors.
