Posted 10/25/2012

Christie® and its Chinese partner, Wincomn Technology, revived the glory of the Song Dynasty in ancient China through the superb projection of multimedia contents for the performance of Romance of Song Dynasty at the Grand Theater of Hangzhou Park.

Hangzhou Park is a dedicated theme park in eastern China. Its Grand Theater houses live stage performances such as “Romance of Song Dynasty,” which brings historical stories to life in spectacular choreographed dance. The performance inspires audiences with high-tech multimedia effects to create a dream-like fairyland. The artistic presentation of “Romance of Song Dynasty” won the National Five-one Projects Award and the Lotus Award, the most acclaimed national award for dance performance in China. Six 20,000 ANSI lumen Christie Roadster S+20K 3-chip DLP® projectors display three scenes on the grand drape, the artificial rock mountain on both sides of the stage and the center stage. A seventh Christie Roadster S+20K is used in the Water Park for the water show.
