Christie digital cinema projectors flexed their “super powers” in the IGN theater at New York Comic Con 2012

As thousands of comic book and science fiction enthusiasts dressed in elaborate character costumes flocked to New York Comic Con, Christie® digital cinema projectors flexed their own brand of “super powers” in the IGN theater. Preferred Christie integrator, Digital Media Systems, installed two Christie Solaria Series® projectors to light up the theater in the special events hall, 1D, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, October 11 - 14.  

New York Comic Con is a convention dedicated to celebrating all the latest in the comic book, graphic novel, video game and pop culture entertainment industries. Attracting more than 105,000 science fiction and fantasy enthusiasts, it is the second largest annual event held in New York City. At the event, fans from near and far gather to meet and greet their favorite celebrities, writers and animators, catch new movie trailers, and find unique, rare and popular collectibles from the science fiction universe on sale.
