Addressing the universal challenge to broadcasters to present a dynamic and rich-media studio display setting with cutting-edge performance and low cost of ownership, Christie® and its partner, Falcon Technologies Pvt. Ltd., are showcasing a live demo of Christie’s award-winning Christie® MicroTiles® at BES (Broadcast Engineering Society, India) Expo 2013, January 29 – 31.

Highlighting the Falcon Technologies’ booth No. 24 to No. 26 is an array of five units by four units of MicroTiles presenting amazing image quality, vibrant, true-to-life colors and brilliant displays.

Combining proven DLP® technology with the long life and reliability of LED technology, Christie MicroTiles can reproduce 115 percent of the NTSC color gamut, exceeding typical LCD flat panels by more than 50 percent. Each display unit automatically detects its neighbours, and self-calibrates for color and brightness to optimize the overall presentation.

Christie MicroTiles are designed for maximum image quality in demanding indoor, high-ambient light environments. At just 16 inches wide by 12 inches tall and less than a foot deep, they are ideal for a wide range of applications, including architectural elements, out-of-home advertising, command and control video walls, and event production.
