SINGAPORE – (September 3, 2012) – Christie® and its visual solutions partner, Hexogon Solution Pte Ltd, added a new meaning to time at the Faces of Beauty Digital Exhibition with the brilliant projection of art-inspired timepieces.
Held at ION Orchard from August 24 to September 2, 2012, the exhibition was part of the Craft of Time@ION event that showcased the beauty of timepieces to promote them as a fashionable lifestyle statement beyond their conventional application in our daily lives. The exhibition displayed dynamic digital presentation of the sophisticated design craft of 15 renowned brands, including Boucheron, Chaumet, Cortina Watch, Frank Muller, Harry Winston, IWC, Larry Jewelry, L’Atelier by The Hour Glass, Officine Panerai, Omega, Patek Philippe, Richard Mille and Tag Heuer.
Hexogon Solution Pte Ltd deployed 60 Christie MicroTiles® onto four rectangular exhibition structures for the digital projection of timepieces under the 15 brand names. Another 12 Christie MicroTiles were laid out in two horizontal arrays in a mirror fashion within the Highlight watch display showcase. To enhance the digital display, a Christie Roaster HD20K-J 3-chip DLP projector coupled with a Christie HD10K-M 3-chip DLP projector were employed to project compelling images onto a circular column and the ceiling of the shopping mall.
“Craftsmen from the world’s renowned brands take their imagination into every delicate detail to give timepieces their unique identities. Together with Christie, we are proud to highlight the technical prowess of the 15 brands showcased in the Faces of Beauty Digital Exhibition using creative digital presentation of the craft,” commented Adrian Goh, managing director of Hexogon Solution Pte Ltd.
“Christie is honored to be associated with the world’s most respected brands in timepieces at the Faces of Beauty Digital Exhibition. Our projection technology displays the inner craft of watches in their most intricate form, enabling shoppers of ION Orchard to appreciate the true beauty of timepieces,” observed Jonathan Lim, General Manager, Christie Singapore.
