NAB Christie Booth Product Round Up
Christie Roadie 25K
The flagship Christie Roadie 25K projector features 2K resolution (2048x1080) powered by the most advanced 3-chip DLP technology on the market, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 25,000 ANSI lumens – an unmatched level of brightness performance for Xenon-based projection systems. Unique, innovative two-piece design features separate projection head and ballast that creates a whole new category of high powered projection solutions for large audience presentations. The Christie Roadie 25K will be used to project HD content from a QuVis server.
Christie Roadster S+12K and Christie Roadster S+16K
The Christie Roadster S+16K and Christie Roadster S+12K projectors feature SXGA+ (1400x1050 resolution) and brightness levels of 16,000 lumens and 12,000 lumens respectively. Featuring 3-chip DLP with 0.95” DMD chips, the Roadsters offer 90% brightness uniformity and 1500:1 full field contrast ratio. The Roadsters have been designed with built-in handles, a new airflow pattern and multi-rigging points.
Christie RoadRunner LX100
The Christie LX100 LCD projector steps up both brightness and performance levels of the RoadRunner series with an amazing 10,000 ANSI lumens and a quad-lamp engine mode. New 3D digital video processing for sharp video images from analog and digital sources, 90% brightness uniformity and an 1100:1 contrast ratio create bright, realistic images. The new Fast Lens Change (FLC™) mount is designed for no-fuss lens changes and easy set-up. The LX100 recently won Entertainment Design magazine’s Eddy Award as a Projector of the Year, which recognized it as the most popular projection system for use on Broadway. The Christie RoadRunner LX100 will illustrate an interactive in-lobby display.
The award-winning Christie DS+60 projector is one of the industry’s brightest and most versatile, single-chip DLP projectors. It delivers 6,000 ANSI lumens and features a range of lenses and input modules to suit any installation, regardless of ambient lighting, screen size and sources. True SXGA+ (1400x1050) resolution, a contrast ratio of up to 5000:1, 10-bit image processing and high quality optics deliver dazzling images with saturated color and spectacular video. The Christie DS+60 integrates easily and quickly into a wide variety of environments including boardrooms, large conference rooms, rental/staging, small auditoriums and houses of worship. The Christie DS+60 will be used to simulate a business or boardroom setting, showing PC content using high-powered Omnivex presentation software.
Featuring the new Darkchip2™ DMD technology and Xenon illumination, the Christie DW6K projector is ideal for virtually all wide-screen applications, including houses of worship, boardrooms and training rooms. The Christie DW6K delivers 6,000 ANSI lumens, featuring true 16:9 display, 1280x720 resolution, 1500-2000:1 contrast ratio and 10-bit image processing for crisp images and perfect color saturation. Built-in edge blending and optional image warping allow images to be wrapped around objects of almost any shape and to be used in a wide range of applications. The Christie DW6K will simulate a post-production facility, showing “Thru the Mobius Strip”, an animated movie running on a GDC cinema server.
The Christie FP400 LCD flat panel display is ideal for smaller corporate boardrooms and classrooms, retail and entertainment signage, transit facilities, control rooms and broadcast and surveillance applications. Unlike plasma displays, the latest direct view LCD technology reduces heat and eliminates image retention and burn-in challenges. The fan-less design offers silent, reliable operation. Low power consumption and long-life backlight reduce the cost of ownership and increase life expectancy. A wide viewing angle of 170°, 470 cd/m2 brightness, WXGA resolution and a 600:1 contrast ratio create crisp, bright images that are easy to view. At just 5.6" (14.22cm) in depth, you can place the Christie FP400 anywhere. Three Christie FP400s will illustrate various broadcast sources.
