Christie Expands LX Projector Family With Introduction Of New Christie LX34 And LX40

INTEGRATED SYSTEMS ASIA/SINGAPORE – (October 12, 2005) – Christie, a major provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, today announced two new major additions to its LX series of powerful LCD projectors: the Christie LX34 and LX40. These new solutions are compact and easy to use and deliver crisp, bold images with low cost of ownership, making them perfect for small auditoriums, conference rooms and executive briefing centers.

The Christie LX34 features 3,500 ANSI lumens and true XGA resolution.  New progressive scan video reproduction improves the playback of moving images by using a 2:3 pull-down for better resolution.  Compact and lightweight, it is one of the industry’s quietest projectors, with vertical lens shift and digital keystone correction that provide picture-perfect image placement.  Optional ChristieNET™ networking capability provides the ultimate control and preventive maintenance from anywhere in the world.

The Christie LX40 delivers 4,000 ANSI lumens, with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio.  Lens shift and digital keystone correction deliver perfect image placement; the wireless remote operates as a wireless mouse, providing complete freedom in any application.  It also features motorized zoom, focus and lens, with multiple inputs and outputs for connectivity to virtually any source.  A full range of optional lenses maximizes portability and placement options.

“Christie strives to offer its customers the best values in the industry, without compromising on performance and reliability,” noted Neil Wittering, Director, Product Management, Business Products, Christie.   “Additions to the LX series are part of our on-going commitment to provide products that offer optimum power, installation durability and ease of use.”
