Christie Presents the Ultimate Knock-Out with Strong Lineup Of Advanced Visual Solutions at InfoComm India 2015

Christie Boxer 4K30 and Captiva Series projectors make their debut in India

INFOCOMM INDIA/MUMBAI – (September 1, 2015) – Christie®, a global leader in visual display solutions, is showcasing the ultimate range of visual solutions at InfoComm India, which is taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Center September 1-3, 2015.

Christie’s multi-zone display at booth #B1, which resembles a boxing arena, exudes energy and sportiness with the new Christie Boxer 4K30 projector and Christie Captiva Series DUW350S ultra short throw projector leading the product showcase. Divided into four key areas, each zone features state-of-the-art Christie products that are ideal for specific applications. This is the first time that the Christie Boxer and Captiva projectors are being showcased in India.

Zone 1 – Christie Boxer and Pandoras Box Media Servers

Making its debut at InfoComm India is the new Christie Boxer 4K30 3DLP® projector, where two units will display ultra high-definition contents managed by the Christie Pandoras Box media servers. Designed from the inside out to punch above its weight class, delivering 30,000 lumens, 4K (4096 by 2160) native resolution and weighing in at less than 150 pounds (68 kilograms), the Christie Boxer 4K30 sets a new industry benchmark for rental staging and large venue events. It has six 450W mercury lamps housed in two 3-lamp cartridges, as well as built-in Christie TruLife image processing.

 

Zone 2 – Visual Displays Zone

A comprehensive range of 1DLP® high-brightness projectors are showcased in this zone, demonstrating how Christie’s affordable solutions bring brightness to new levels of brilliance. Visitors can experience the new Christie Captiv​a Series DUW350S ultra short throw projector that can create canvases up to 140-inches diagonal in landscape or portrait mode with optional interactivity capabilities. Also on display is the Christie Q Series, which offers versatile, affordable and superior image processing capabilities and Christie GS Series featuring laser phosphor illumination with 20,000 hours of low-cost operation. Zone 2 also features Christie H Series, which is equipped with built-in warping and blending capabilities to meet even the most challenging projection needs.

Zone 3 – Control Room Display Solutions

Showcasing the Christie® Phoenix – which enables seamless access and control of audio-visual data regardless of the user’s location – and the Christie FHD552-X LCD panel arranged in a 2-by-2 array – Zone 3 highlights how Christie control room solutions are ideal for mission critical environments. A network streaming solution at its core, Christie Phoenix enables users to collaborate, synthesize and generate fast and accurate decisions in the most critical situations while the Christie FHD552-X offers full HD resolution, high pixel density and an LED-backlit screen. Images look sharp from any distance and users can convey information with controlled brightness, making it suitable for a variety of indoor environments.

Zone 4 – Christie MicroTiles

The award-winning Christie® MicroTiles® deliver vibrant, true-to-life colors and their modular design allows them to be displayed in almost any shape or size. Arranged in skyscraper format, the MicroTiles display will demonstrate their versatility. Christie MicroTiles are perfect for users desiring to create a unique experience in retail, hospitality, museums, corporate spaces, and more.

 

Comprehensive Lineup of Solutions

Besides the four themed zones, Christie is showcasing its 3DLP®, 1DLP® and 3LCD projectors including the rugged Christie Roadster HD14K-M and HD20K-J 3DLP® projectors, Christie G Series and Q Series 1DLP® projectors and the Christie LW551i and LWU421 3LCD projectors.
