CYPRESS, CA – (JULY 21, 2006) – Christie, a leading provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, announced that Columbia Pictures’ “Monster House” in REAL D Digital 3D will use Christie CP2000 DLP Cinema® projectors at select theatres throughout the U.S.
In Columbia Pictures' Monster House, three kids do battle with a mysterious house that threatens anyone who crosses its path and which is determined to eat every trick-or-treater in sight on Halloween. It is directed by UCLA Spotlight Award-winner Gil Kenan. Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg are executive producers. Christie Digital Cinema projectors, installed in more theaters than any other projection manufacturer in the world, will be used to light up screens for these 3D presentations.

Lewis, Chairman, REAL D. “We’re thrilled to work with superior quality partners like Christie to escalate the rollout of digital 3D cinema to mainstream levels.”
