INTEGRATED SYSTEMS ASIA/SINGAPORE – (October 12, 2005) – Christie, a major provider of visual solutions for business, entertainment and industry, today announced major enhancements to its best-selling line of native widescreen projectors that include a 50% increase in lamp life, to provide an exceptional 1,500 hours under typical use.  Featuring the latest generation 3-chip DLP™ technology, the projectors also offer increased brightness levels, an improved optical system, and upgraded internal design to deliver exceptional image quality and detail.

Available in a choice of four compact packages, the Christie DW series includes the Christie DW3K, with brightness levels increasing from 3,000 ANSI Lumens to 5,000 ANSI Lumens; and the Christie DW6K, with brightness levels increasing from 6,000 ANSI Lumens to 7,000 ANSI Lumens.  The series also includes the Christie DW3Kc and DW6Kc, both of which contain an enhanced optical system that delivers a film-like color experience with strong color depth – ideal for post-production applications.

The Christie DW Series provides one of the best 1280x720 image quality in 3-Chip DLP™ projection available today, with a variable contrast ratio of 1600 – 2000:1 for utmost control.  Higher quality optics and 10-bit image processing help the Christie DW Series deliver a superior image quality on large displays.  In addition, a user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) makes operation and set-up easy, with multiple control options that include built-in Infrared and wired remote keypad.  Optional ChristieNET™  WAVE and ChristieNET WAVE-DVD networking modules provide wireless presentation power for data, video and streaming from anywhere in the world.  As well, auto set-up automatically recognizes sources and sets up correct brightness, contrast and position.
