CYPRESS, CA - (November 15, 2006) - Christie introduces the latest in the company’s powerful line of LCD projectors – the Christie LW300. Delivering 3,000 ANSI lumens and 1000:1 contrast ratio, the Christie LW300 offers true native WXGA (1366 x 768) resolution with 30% more pixels than XGA, and is the perfect solution for demanding video applications. Ideal for use in boardrooms, conference rooms, classrooms, home entertainment and cinema advertising, the Christie LW300 combines flexibility with performance to create powerful presentations.
Featuring 10-bit image processing and native 16:9 aspect ratio, the Christie LW300 displays HDTV content in its true aspect ratio without sacrificing brightness. With multiple inputs and outputs, it can connect to virtually any source including analog RGB with support for signals up to 1080P and HDCP compliant DVI. Additional features such as motorized zoom, focus and lens shift, and an optional long-life filter kit provide greater installation flexibility and help extend maintenance cycles.
"The Christie LW300 reflects the evolution of Christie technology, offering higher brightness levels and flexibility to meet the needs of business users as well as classrooms where ambient light can affect image quality,” noted Neil Wittering, director of product management, Business Products at Christie. “With the future trend in display projectors and content moving to 16:9 format, the LW300 is the perfect solution for demanding video applications and for installations in forward-thinking boardrooms, small auditoriums and classrooms.”
The Christie LW300 can be networked with optional ChristieNET™, a networking solution used to monitor projectors through a TCP/IP network for preventative maintenance and ultimate control.
