CYPRESS, CA - (September 15, 2003) – Christie, the trusted name in high performance projection, presents the new Christie LX25, a low profile, high brightness, LCD projector. Combining superior image quality with advanced software, the LX25 is ready to use right out-of-the-box and is ideal as a shared asset especially for users in the education market.
At a mere 6.4lb (2.9kg), the LX25 delivers 2,500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 400:1, native XGA resolution (1024x768) with scaling from VGA to SXGA and support for connections to most computers/laptops. At the heart of the LX25 are three 0.8” p-Si Active Matrix TFT LCD panels optimized for 8-bit color resolution offering 16.7 million displayable colors and crisp images.
The short-throw 1.25-1.95:1 manual zoom lens provides enough brightness for screens up to 25ft (7.6m), perfect for classrooms and small conference rooms. The user-replaceable 200W UHP lamp is another measure of the projector’s ease of maintenance and low cost of ownership.
The LX25 offers a wide range of inputs including DVI-I (HDCP compliant for playback of encrypted digital video signals), HD15 (for both RGB and component video), composite, and s-video connections. The LX25 features the latest video decoding electronics for support of all known video formats from standard definition to HDTV with automatic de-interlacing and 3:2 pulldown for superior video playback. With the new single press menus featuring direct control, the LX25 is easy and intuitive to set-up and use.
ChristieNET™, the world’s preferred networking solution, is available for the LX25 to enable monitoring and to control installed projectors from anywhere in the world, on any network.
