INFOCOMM/Orlando-FL – (June 3, 2003) – Christie stays in the forefront of AV and IT convergence and as the Pro AV industry’s favored networking solution by launching the ChristieNET Enterprise Edition with new Content Management Console (CMC).

Christie’s CMC is built atop the Spinoza platform and extended by Christie’s engineering team. The new CMC enables users to send content to any ChristieNET enabled projector via a wired or wireless network including Microsoft Office files, Windows Media Player, MPEG, .avi, Realplayer, Quicktime, even DVD’s.

“As the first Pro AV manufacturer to integrate modules from Spinoza’s platform into their suite of networking solutions over a year ago, Christie has proven their position as an industry leader and as innovators in the networked AV systems market, with an open, PC-based solution for effectively linking the audio-visual world with today's IT departments," says Ray Zambroski, VP of Business Marketing and Development for Spinoza Technology.  “With the launch of the Content Management Console, Christie has shown they are absolutely at the forefront of the trend driving AV to IT connectivity.”

ChristieNET’s Enterprise Edition leverages the already existing conference room PC so users can send virtually any file over the network to these projectors. The Virtual Network Computing (VNC) feature gives the user, from anywhere in the world, full control of the PC collocated with the projector, as well as, the ability to control projectors and deliver presentation content via a wireless Microsoft Pocket PC.

“Christie has always prided itself in working with leading global suppliers to bring out the best specified products that meet market demands, and when it comes to networking AV equipment functionality is key,” said Max Kopsho, Product Manager of Network Solutions for Christie.  “When we coupled our engineering and programming expertise with those of Spinoza we came out with a highly differentiated, standards-based network solution with the best functionality in the industry.

ChristieNET projector management and control solutions connect any Christie projector to any Windows-based network enabling AV control and monitoring anywhere around the world. As a stand-alone it can also connect any non-Christie projector making it the most versatile solution to any networking environment. ChristieNET is available in Expanded, Enterprise and Projector Organizer models.
