LED-based illumination with InfraRGB™ (RGB + IR)

The Christie Matrix StIM™ and Christie Matrix StIM WQ simulation projectors are revolutionary LED-based illumination with InfraRGB™ (RGB + IR). The Christie Matrix StIM and Christie Matrix StIM WQ address all the key requirements of the simulation industry in one compact, customer-driven design. Offering the ultimate in simulation visualization –scalability and an IR LED to actually stimulate NVGs, the Christie Matrix StIM can self-adjust in real-time for a seamless display that responds to scene content for accurate depiction of day, night and independent stimulated NVG images.

DLP technology

At the core of the projector is a single DMD (Christie Matrix StIM and Christie Matrix StIM WQ) or three DMDs (Christie Matrix Series) with 650,000 Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). When combined with solid state illumination, it provides unmatched picture quality for a reliable, accurate picture that will stand the test of time. Unlike other standard 1DLP® projectors, with LED illumination there is no color wheel. No color wheel means no rainbow, or strobe effects, no artifacts and higher reliability for overall projector performance.

Complex blended arrays

Designed and engineered for complex blended arrays where color matching and uniformity are critical, the Christie Matrix Series offers lamp-based Xenon illumination in WUXGA, SXGA+ and full 1920 x 1080 HD resolutions.  The series delivers the highest performance utilizing DLP® technology – the best solution for simulation environments where clarity of fast moving content is critical.

Combined with the highest color uniformity and standard features such as Christie Twist™ image warping and edge-blending, RGB color matching, full control of gamma curves and grayscale tracking, high input bandwidth and less than one frame of propagation delay , the Christie Matrix Series enables real world simulation and training.
