Elevating Canada’s profile
Canada had a unique opportunity to use the world’s excitement around the London 2012 Olympic Games and the prime location of Canada House on London, England’s Trafalgar Square to advance Canada’s commercial profile with business leaders from around the world.
With so many people focused on and coming to London, it was the perfect time to open the doors of Canada Olympic House, which hosted the cultural and consular activities of the High Commission of Canada in London, England, to visiting athletes, dignitaries and business leaders.
Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) wanted to create a vibrant, interactive and novel experience for visitors with memorable Canadian themes and messages that would engage the global business community. To that end, DFAIT set up two digital signage displays on the first floor of Canada Olympic House.
