Christie MicroTiles share in the celebration of Michigan War Veterans
Home to more than 30,000 students, Lansing Community College (LCC) in Lansing, Michigan opened its doors in 1957 to meet the demand for specialized and technical education for Greater Lansing’s industrial workforce. The school, located 80 miles northwest of Detroit in the state capital, focuses on career development, general education and personal enrichment – offering more than 240 associate degrees and certificate programs in a variety of career paths.
Providing opportunities for veterans is a school tradition and with more than 700 current and former military personnel enrolled onsite and online, Lansing Community College is honoring those who served their country. Located in the college’s first floor garden atrium, the Lansing Community College Veterans Memorial is a 9-by-20 beige granite wall with a 5 x 3 Christie® MicroTiles™ array installed in the center.
