A Virtual Car Ride on Subaru Impreza
Subaru has established itself as a popular car brand in Australia, making the country one of its best selling market in terms of market share. Its Australian arm, Subaru Australia, approached SOTA Creative, a Sydney-based experiential brand and business marketing agency, with a challenge: to launch its two cars, Subaru Impreza and Subaru XV, with a business message for its network of 300 dealers and partners from around Australia within a day.
One of Subaru’s strengths is the many different products it offers to the market place. For this particular launch, the two cars share many similarities in terms of components, engineering and design style but they target very different market segments. The Subaru Impreza is designed more for city driving on tar roads than dirt ride. On the other hand, the Subaru XV has a more rugged appeal to drive to the beach and mountains for adventurous activities.
