A member of our team will document your product issue, troubleshoot the issue to determine the next course of action and initiate a service request, as needed, on your behalf.

Our service promise

The first step in our repair process is our standard evaluation. This thorough, multi-point inspection by a Christie accredited service technician involves a full repair diagnostics as well as an attempt to duplicate any failure you may have experienced with that product. Finally, we create a detailed quote that outlines the work we need to do and any parts that need to be replaced.

And at any time during a Christie repair service, if we determine that any additional work or parts are required, we’ll contact you, provide a new quote and estimated turnaround time, and only proceed with your approval.

Service turnaround times

Our standard turnaround time for repair services for most Christie products is 10 business days. Turnaround time for all other repairs is 1 month, with a rare exception for some projector lenses, which could take up to 4 months.

Need faster service?

For products that qualify for our standard turnaround time of 10 business days, our expedite fee program guarantees a faster turnaround time of just 3 business days. If we can’t repair your equipment in that time? We waive the expedite fee and offer additional options.

Electronic RMA white-glove support

With a single call to our help desk, you can generate a claim form and then authorize it electronically to receive replacement parts. We can also manage the Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process for all equipment we service, directly with the original manufacturer.

Onsite repair services

We offer onsite field services for situations where shipping products to us for repair isn’t possible or feasible. In these situations, our Professional Services team will come to you to bring your system back online and running at optimal operating levels! We charge a daily rate plus the cost of parts.

Christie repair services warranty

We stand behind our work. When we repair products that are still covered under warranty, any replacement parts take on the existing product warranty. And for out-of-warranty products, we give any replacement parts a 1-year warranty and cover labor for 90 days.

Our repair services

Projector bulb replacement

Need a new bulb in your lamp? Send us your housing and we’ll put in a new bulb, align it for maximum brightness, and return it to you within our standard 10 business days with a full warranty. Prefer to do the work yourself? You can buy a jig from us (a one-time purchase) that you can use to do re-lamping in the field, anytime.

Projector light engine repairs

Experiencing an issue with your projector’s light engine? Send it to us and we repair and return it to you within 10 business days with a 1-year warranty. For in-warranty 3LCD or 1DLP® projectors with operational issues, our partners can use our CDXchange program to get a free, next-day replacement of an equal or comparable product. For out-of-warranty repairs, our partners can use our parts exchange program for a quick replacement part, then return their light engine for a credit (once we determine it’s repairable).

Projector lenses

We repair projector lenses. Some lenses qualify for our standard turnaround time of 10 business days, but others may take as long as 4 months.

MicroTiles®

Send us your Christie MicroTiles®—tiles or light engines—for repair and Christie accredited service technicians apply their expertise using factory-certified parts. Our turnaround time for repair is 1 month, and once we repair your tiles or light engine, they’re covered under a 1-year warranty. For out-of-warranty repairs, our partners can use the Christie parts exchange program for a quick replacement part, then return their tiles or light engine for a credit (once we determine it’s repairable).

LCD panels

We repair LCD panels. Most qualify for our standard turnaround time of 10 business days, but some LCD repairs may take up to 1 month.

LED tiles and video walls

Our quick optimal service for LED video walls will give you peace of mind. When your Christie LED tiles are delivered, we inventory a supply of spare LED pixels from the same bin and batch as the original order. If you need replacement pixels, we source them from this supply to ensure consistent image performance and color calibration. Most LED tile and video wall repairs qualify for our standard turnaround time of 10 business days, but some may take up to 1 month.

Image processors

We repair image processors, with a standard turnaround time of 10 business days.

Media servers

We repair media servers, with a standard turnaround time of 10 business days.
