Christie promotes full suite of powerful tools at GITEX

GITEX/DUBAI - (October 10, 2018) - Christie®, a leader in creating and sharing the world's best visual and audio experiences, will be exhibiting at GITEX 2018 in the Dubai World Trade Centre (October 14-18, Hall 2, Stand G2-20) with the first public showcase in the Middle East of a number of new products from its laser illumination, content management, LCD and LED portfolios.

The 25,000 lumen Christie Crimson WU25 3DLP® laser projector is making its debut in the region. Providing years of reliable and virtually maintenance-free operation, the Crimson WU25 is specially designed to meet the unique demands found in large venues, live events and high-use environments. Featuring patented BoldColor™ Technology for amazing, true-to-life visuals, as well as Christie TruLife™ electronics for ultra-fast processing up to 60Hz, it will be shown with Christie's ultra-short throw lens UST 0.37.
Also showing is the Christie D13HD-HS, a 1DLP® laser projector producing 13,000 lumens with HD resolution. With built-in camera-based warping and blending, this projector is easy to set up, whether on its own or as part a multi-projector array. Its compact and lightweight form factor, omnidirectional capabilities and optional rigging frame make the D13HD-HS perfect for challenging installation spaces.
Making its first public appearance in the Middle East will be the Christie Spyder X80, the most powerful multi-screen windowing content processor and management solution available, and winner of the Best Rental/Staging Product for Live Events at InfoComm 2017. The Christie Spyder X80 is the only video processor capable of processing 4K at 60Hz from all inputs to all outputs without any configuration or operating restrictions, producing dramatic display presentations and the highest quality imagery while eliminating system complexity.
Customers looking for high-definition, bright and seamless visuals can check out the Christie Apex Series LED tiles in 1.6mm pixel pitch. This premium LED video wall solution delivers 4K at 60Hz resolution, HDR10 compatibility, built-in Clearview™ technology, and low-brightness enhancements for incredible visual experiences. System-certified and featuring advanced-monitoring and 24/7 operation, Apex Series is ideal for applications where peak performance is critical. The Apex Series comes in a range of pixel pitches and features a 16:9 aspect ratio and very high fill-factor. It also easily scales to common resolutions while maintaining image quality.
Another highlight of the Christie booth will be the eye-catching LCD panels that offer a versatile platform for a variety of applications. On display will be the Christie FHD553-XE, a professional grade, extreme-narrow bezel HD panel for impressive video walls, that will be arranged in a 2-by-2 array, and the Christie FHQ981-L, a high-performance plug-and-play 98-inch UHD flat panel for boardrooms, small video walls and digital signage applications.
There will be a fascinating projection mapping demonstration on the iconic Christie wolf head, made possible using two Christie Boxer 4K30 projectors. This high-performance 3DLP® 4K resolution projector delivers superlative performance for high-impact rental staging and large venue events. Another highlight will be a stunning clock tower display powered by the Christie Mirage WU14K-M projector.
Both Christie Pandoras Box and Christie Terra will play back, control, and distribute a combination of 2K and 4K content at 60Hz in Christie's space at GITEX 2018. From project conception to realization – and every step between – Pandoras Box gives users endless creative possibilities and complete control over the entire workflow for the most memorable and engaging visual experiences.
