Galaxy Cinema chooses CineLife+ RBe laser projectors

HANOI, Vietnam – Christie^® is pleased to announce that Galaxy Cinema, one of Vietnam’s leading exhibitors with 26 locations nationwide, has selected the CineLife+™ RBe enhanced laser projectors with Phazer™ illumination technology for its newest flagship multiplex, Galaxy CineX Hanoi Centre.

Located in the heart of Vietnam’s capital, this eight-screen complex features six well-appointed auditoriums powered by Christie RBe projectors, offering audiences stunning visuals, rich color, and an unforgettable cinematic experience. These include three VIP halls (Aqualis, Romantico, and Lagom), two standard halls (Haatopia 1 & 2), and a dedicated children’s theatre (Cine De Kids). Galaxy Cinema selected the Christie CP2409-RBe and CP2411-RBe models for their superior image quality, energy efficiency, and long-term operational stability. Delivering 9,000 and 11,000 lumens respectively, these projectors feature a compact, quiet design ideal for ceiling-mounted installations, maximizing space and enhancing the venue’s visual aesthetics.

This installation marks another milestone in Galaxy Cinema’s enduring partnership with Christie, following earlier deployments of RBe projectors across its other locations in Vietnam. Encouraged by the success of Galaxy CineX Hanoi Centre, Galaxy Cinema plans to integrate more Christie laser projection systems as part of its ongoing technology upgrade initiative.

Powered by Christie’s CineLife+2K™ electronics platform, the RBe Series combines advanced performance with effortless operation, featuring auto-configuration, motorized lens control, and electronic color convergence (ECC) for precise alignment. With Phazer illumination technology, these models achieve more than double the energy efficiency of comparable Xenon illuminated projectors—the CP2409-RBe delivering 9.4 lumens per watt, and the CP2411-RBe achieving 8.9 lumens per watt—resulting in a significantly lower total cost of ownership.
