CHENNAI, India – Christie® reaffirms its commitment to India’s cinema industry as the official projection partner of Big Cine Expo 2026, taking place August 18-19 at the Chennai Trade Centre. Marking the ninth consecutive year in this role, Christie will showcase its latest cinema projection technologies designed to help exhibitors deepen audience engagement, improve operational efficiency, and maximize box-office performance.
Attendees will experience stunning visuals powered by the Christie CineLife+™ Series, which brings advanced illumination technologies to screens of all sizes, from premium large-format (PLF) venues to mainstream cinema applications. Purpose-built for exhibitors, the CineLife+ Series combines exceptional image quality, reliability, energy efficiency, and long-term value.

As the official projection partner, Christie will provide the CP4425-RGB pure laser cinema projector for screenings and presentations in the event’s main auditorium. Featuring RealLaser™ illumination technology, this DCI-compliant projector delivers 25,000 lumens of brightness and is well suited for screens up to 23 meters (76 feet) wide. With vibrant color, exceptional contrast, and long-term efficiency, the CP4425-RGB demonstrates how RGB pure laser projection can elevate presentation quality.
Christie’s latest CineLife+ Series RGB pure laser and RBe projectors will also be featured on static display in the booths of industry partners UFO Moviez and Qube Cinema. Exhibitors can explore solutions for diverse cinema environments, from premium large-format venues and boutique cinemas to screening rooms and post-production facilities. These technologies combine vivid color and high contrast with operational efficiency, reliability, and long-term value, giving exhibitors flexible options to enhance presentation quality and streamline workflows.
