Christie showcasing tech at CFX 2026

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Christie^® will demonstrate how its visual technologies can help congregations communicate clearly, tell compelling stories and create experiences that resonate with worship spaces, at Church Facilities Expo (CFX) 2026, September 15–16 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Booth visitors can see projection mapping in action as a Christie Korus 4K1400-KS illuminates Cathedral of Thieves, an intricate, layered wood artwork by Gabriel Schama, with projection-mapped content created by Limelight. The demonstration will show how projection mapping can turn three-dimensional surfaces, stage elements and architectural features into dynamic canvases for storytelling.

As a gear sponsor for CFX 2026, Christie’s technology will also support programming throughout the show. A Christie Sapphire^® 4K40-RGBH pure laser projector and Spyder-S video processing platform will power visuals on the main stage, while a Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser projector will be used on one of the education stages. The Spyder-S functionality will be demonstrated on a Christie 55” LCD panel in Christie’s booth, where visitors can learn how its scalable, modular architecture, expanded connectivity and simplified management give production teams the flexibility to combine live camera feeds, video and graphics across multiple screens.

Christie representatives will be available in booth 1019 to discuss visual technology for sanctuaries, gathering spaces, multipurpose rooms, multi-site campuses and special events, and how to find the right solution for each space and budget. Attendees can also explore Christie’s projection and image-processing tools and learn how they can transform worship environments.
