This 275W UHB mercury arc lamp is user replaceable.

Refer to page 63 of the Christie LW400 Operational User Manual for complete details about the lamp replacement procedure.

The benefits of using a UHB lamp in this Christie projector is that it allows for a lighter, cooler running projector.  It is quieter and less expensive-to-operate with a lamp life of up to 2000 hours.
