Not every space that uses a display or projector has the same performance requirements. For conference rooms with a consumer TV mounted on the wall, retail stores running a media player into a commodity monitor, or classrooms running a consumer projector onto a pull-down screen, the visuals on display aren’t the number one priority.
In cinemas and other professional visual environments, however, quality, reliability, and precision are paramount, and this directly affects the requirements for visual display technology. Every frame, every color, and every detail matters. Cinema auditoriums need to reproduce content exactly as the director intended, public utility control rooms can't afford a single dropped frame or failed display, 50,000-seat stadiums need projection that can cut through ambient light to deliver seamless visuals on the playing field, and museum exhibits need technology that runs flawlessly, without interruption, for years to immerse visitors with vibrant visuals day after day.
Although each environment has unique technical requirements, they all share a common need for visual technology engineered for demanding applications. Incredible brightness, continuous operation, precise color reproduction, and dependable performance aren’t optional. They’re fundamental requirements. Depending on the application, systems must also meet industry standards such as DCI or support wide color gamuts like DCI-P3 or Rec. 2020.
Just as important is next-level serviceability and support. When a display fails before a prestigious event, live broadcast, or in a mission-critical control room, replacing an entire system isn’t an option. Professional environments require products designed to be serviced quickly, supported globally, and integrated with image and video processing that treats the display not as a standalone device but as a key component in a larger visualization ecosystem.
Bringing outstanding technology together with services and solutions is where Christie® shines.

LCD panels for secure, mission-critical environments
Our secure LCD panels are built for mission-critical environments where security, uptime, and visual precision are non-negotiable.
Christie Secure Series III 4K UHD LCD panels are purpose-built for the highest security. With TAA and NDAA compliance and secure firmware architecture, these panels are non-RF with no Wi-Fi to meet the demands of federal government and defense environments. With volatile memory to protect your data and no embedded operating system, Secure Series III eliminates embedded vulnerabilities typical of Android- or Linux-based displays, making it ideal for 24/7 continuous operation in classified, mission-critical environments such as control rooms, situation rooms, training centers, and mobile command units.
Powerful projection software
Delivering exceptional visual experiences requires far more than the projector itself. It takes solutions that go beyond the box. That’s where our powerful projection software tools come in.
Christie Twist built-in image warping and blending lets you expertly edge blend and stack multiple images seamlessly on any 2D or 3D surface. Embedded in most Christie projectors and activated with a complimentary software download, Twist allows you to easily map pixels onto any projection surface, maintaining proper geometry and accurate pixel-to-pixel alignment. For more complex projects, you can access additional functionality when you upgrade to Twist Premium or Twist Pro.
Multi-projector arrays, projection mapping, and complex screen shapes and surfaces require expert image configuration, alignment, and warping and blending. Working in conjunction with Twist, Christie Mystique automates the warping and blending process for multi-projector installations and projection mapping applications, including flat, curved, and custom-shaped surfaces such as domes. At the click of a mouse, the camera-based software aligns, stacks, and blends multi-projector systems in minutes with unsurpassed accuracy, saving hours of painstaking work. With five versions of Mystique available, each designed for specific screen types and applications, there’s an edition to meet your needs.
When using Christie Griffyn® Series or Sapphire® 4K40-RGBH 3DLP RGB pure laser projectors in a blended projection system, you can install Christie Guardian software to monitor for misalignment and automatically calibrate those images in real time, helping maintain consistency across long-running, permanent installations.
Christie Conductor software lets you monitor and control up to 256 Christie 3DLP projectors on the same network from your laptop. The user-friendly interface lets you instantly see which require attention, so you can proactively manage, diagnose, and automate processes across an entire installation.
