BEIJING – Christie®, a leader in creating and delivering the world’s best visual and audio experiences, is pleased to announce the adoption of a new product distribution structure for China.
Under this new structure, seven companies have been appointed as distributors of Christie’s 3LCD, 1DLP®, 3DLP® projectors, and content management and image processing solutions to expand its reach within China. The move will better serve the needs of Chinese customers by offering them greater access to Christie’s wide range of affordable and premium products, as well as enhanced customer service, marketing, and technical support.

The adoption of this new distribution structure seeks to strengthen our product offerings, sales and service capabilities, which underscores our continuous commitment to this marketplace. We are very pleased to appoint these well-established companies with a proven track record as our distributors to make our projection and image processing solutions more accessible to all our customers in China.”
Christie’s projection systems will be distributed by the following companies: Beijing Wincomn Technology Co., Ltd, Dicction (Beijing) Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd, Beijing Zhongqing Display Technology Co., Ltd (for Northern China), Shanghai Qingying Digital Technology Co. Ltd (for Eastern China), and Guangzhou Zhaocheng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd (for Southern China).
There is also an increasing demand for content management and processing for customers who require powerful tools to deliver amazing visual experiences. Hence, Christie has awarded Beijing De Yi Jia Chuang (Audiovisual) Ltd and Switch On Projects Ltd with the license to distribute its image processing products in mainland China and Hong Kong & Macau respectively.

In 2008, the deployment of Christie projectors for the opening ceremony of an international sporting event in Beijing heralded a new era of large-scale outdoor projection in China.
