Christie: Trusted for religious, cultural and tourism projects in India
A number of religious, cultural and tourism venues in India have placed their trust in the combined power of Christie hardware and software, including the Golden Temple Plaza Basement, Konark Sun Temple, and Wonderla Amusement Park.
In an effort to allow pilgrims and visitors to better appreciate the history and ethos of Sikhism, four multimedia galleries located within the Golden Temple Plaza Basement in Amritsar were built and opened to the public. The visuals in all four galleries are powered by Christie display and image processing solutions. The sophisticated task of designing these experiential spaces was undertaken by Designhabit, a leading design house based in New Delhi.
Over at the ancient Konark Sun Temple located in Odisha, both pilgrims and tourists are enthralled by a spectacular 35-minute light and sound show focusing on the temple's glorious history and religious significance. Designed and executed by Tricolor India Schauspiel using Christie Roadster S+20K and Christie HD10K-M 3DLP projectors, it is the first light and sound show in India where headphones are used, since audio equipment cannot be installed within the premises.
