São Paulo, Brazil – Christie® is pleased to announce that it is the Gold Sponsor of the Smart City Business Brazil Congress & Expo (SCBBrC&E), an event that brings together organizations, vendors and cities that are references in the area of Smart Cities, taking place in Transamerica Expo Center, São Paulo, Brazil, July 22-24.
SCBBrC&E is an event of convergence where experts and leaders of innovative and transformative initiatives can intensify high-level contacts, share experiences, insights, ideas, visions, solutions and success stories. The show brings together the main technology vendors and services innovators capable of transforming urban dynamics.
“We are very excited to present a selection of our control room solutions at this leading show, which provides us with a great opportunity to reach out to leaders interested in Smart Cities developments,” said Clayton Brito, Director Latin America, Enterprise, Christie.
BCC Research estimated that information and communications technologies for smart cities will produce a revenue of almost $327 billion in North America by 2021.
“Technology will be the foundation for Smart Cities of the future and we firmly believe that they will present the AV industry with many opportunities to play a leading role, especially for control and processing technology, collaboration solutions, videowalls and LCD displays,” added Brito.
At SCBBrC&E, Christie will showcase a control room solution comprised of four Christie FHD552X-B 55-inch LCD flat panels manufactured in Brazil. These ultra narrow bezel panels are targeted for 24/7 use in control room applications and deliver a superior tiled experience and performance at a low cost of ownership. Featuring a host of Pro AV features, including high pixel density for impeccable image quality, slim chassis, energy-efficient operation and 1920x1080 native resolution, these displays offer a budget-conscious solution without sacrificing performance.
All contents displayed on this video wall will be controlled by two nodes of Christie Phoenix™, which enables seamless access and control of audio-visual data regardless of the user’s location. A network streaming solution at its core, Christie Phoenix allows users to collaborate, synthesize and generate fast and accurate decisions in even the most critical situations. In addition, several Christie laser projectors (including the LWU650-APS, DWU1075-GS and D20WU-HS models) will be strategically positioned around different rooms and auditoriums at the show to display contents in seminars, talks and meetings. Christie will also deploy 18 FHD492X-B and FHD552X-B flat panels throughout the show floor to display critical event information of the event.
