Christie CP4220 cinema projector to be used for movie screenings; Christie 6P laser projection system on static display at UFO Moviez’s booth
CHENNAI, India- Christie®, a leader in creating and delivering the world’s best visual and audio experiences, is proud to be the exclusive projection partner of Big Cine Expo 2017, taking place at the Chennai Trade Centre, August 8-9.
A Christie CP4220 DLP® digital cinema projector, which delivers 4K resolution and 22,000 lumens of brightness, has been deployed for movie screenings throughout the event. In addition, Christie’s valued partner UFO Moviez Indiawill showcase a static display of the Christie 6P laser projector featuring two Christie CP42LH 3DLP 4K RGB laser projector heads at its booth located at Expo Hall 3, #105.

PVR Cinemas chooses Christie Duo
PVR Cinemas, the largest film and retail entertainment company In India, has purchased 14 sets of Christie Duodual-projection system to be deployed in its theaters across the country. The first of which will be installed at PVR Mani Square Mall in Kolkata. Designed to provide uniform pixel convergence across the entire screen, the Christie Duo system allows one projector to be dedicated to the right eye and one projector to be dedicated to the left.
