ORLANDO, Fla. – Christie®, a leader in creating and delivering the world's best visual and audio experiences, is demonstrating industry-leading display and processing technology at DISTRIBUTECH 2024, from Feb 26-29 in booth 728 in Orlando, Florida.
Christie will showcase solutions for the power and utility industry, including Christie Hedra™, a secure, KVM-enabled processor for video walls and operator workspace consoles.
“We offer a range of secure, reliable, and TAA-compliant solutions for the power and utility industry, including our newest solution, Christie Hedra,” says Bill Zhu, director of product management, Christie. “With Hedra, you can manage up to 27 inputs, sources, and streams with latency-free operation. This is ideal for small control rooms, emergency mobile command centers, or to simplify an operator’s workspace by reducing the number of monitors needed for critical decision making.”
Hedra is available in three models: Hedra Standard, Hedra Pro-KVM, and Hedra Pro-Video, with inputs ranging from nine on the Standard model to 27 on the Pro-Video model.
Based on an FPGA hardware system with Linux control and an integrated multi-view KVM switch, users can easily change between different on-screen layouts and configurations, and securely control sources from a local desktop display. With drag-and-drop interfaces and customized layouts, Hedra makes it easy to arrange and control sources on a video wall or on an operator console.
For small to medium-sized control rooms, Christie offers LCD panels and LED video wall solutions that work seamlessly with Hedra, including Secure LCD panels, and Core Series III LED video walls.
A 65-inch Secure Series II LCD panel will be on display at the show. Available in a range of sizes from 55 inches to 98 inches, Secure Series II is TAA-compliant and non-RF for increased security. It offers professional features including an OPS slot and multi-source viewing in an affordable package.
Core Series III, Christie’s newest video wall solution, delivers a complete package of performance, reliability, and value. Available in five pixel pitches – from 0.9mm to 2.5mm – this TAA-compliant video wall solution is 40% more energy efficient and 30% lighter than its predecessor.
